Depending on the type of workplace, it is suitable to choose from the following types of devices:

Manager’s desktop

A suitable device is the 2N StarPoint Advance with the possibility of calling without holding the handset, supplemented by an external handset (portable) handsfree kit. The use of Intercom services with an assistant in the adjacent office will be beneficial. The workplace also needs the 2N NETSTAR Assistant web page with an operative review of telephone calls, corporate contacts and an optional call service via computer. The natural second terminal is the personal GSM phone, connected via Mobility Extension as a parallel device to the desk telephone or IP soft phone, installed on a portable computer for use during business trips.

Assistant’s workplace (operator, receptionist)

Depending on the number of received calls and size of the company, a suitable device is the 2N StarPoint Advance or Standard with an extension module for one-key functions. The panel clearly signalises telephone operation throughout the company with easy connection (parking, hand-over, etc.) of calls pressing one key only. During intensive telephone operation, it is highly beneficial to equip the workplace with a hands-free set and 2N NETSTAR Assistant, for a complete overview of telephone calls, corporate contacts and optional call servicing via computer.

Correspondent’s workplace

Here you can choose from all types of system devices with a display, which means a choice of the 2N StarPoint Advance, Standard or Economy models. The main criterion is “seeing who is calling” handling the call quickly and easily using predefined services on the keys of the system telephone. Unlike a standard telephone, your workplace will be equipped with access to corporate telephone contacts, call history and telephone profile settings.

Hotels, plants, workshops, warehouses

Moving around large areas with a telephone in your pocket is enabled by using a cordless DECT telephone or a 2N StarPoint Entry system device equipped with a hands-free kit. In the latter case, it is possible to use predefined keys for easy service selection, e.g. reporting movement to the guarding service, hotel room cleaning, reports to the factory intercom, etc.
