HandsFree Sets
To call comfortably without holding the handset, use the HandsFree function of your 2N StarPoint Advance key phone, with the option to tune its sensitivity in dependence on the background noise level.To make your calls even more comfortable, emphasising ergonomical qualities and a high sensing and recording level, use wire or wireless HandsFree sets. You can choose any of GN Netcom models available on the market, which are compatible with the 2N NETSTAR system.

Select the version for each type of connection that is suitable for your particular environment. We recommend you to use NC or UNC (noise suppression) sets for noisy environments.
1) Telephone - HandsFree Connection
Features:
This is a low-cost basic solution. You can use a headset only, leaving the handset permanently disconnected. To answer a call, pick up the disconnected handset. You can connect your HandsFree to other sources of sound too in the same way - e.g. to a PC sound card.
Application:
Use this device where you want to keep your hands free and do not need the handset (call centre, operator's workplace).

2) Telephone - Amplifier - Corded HandsFree Connection
Features:
This represents the optimum use of the HandsFree function. It enables you to switch between the headset and handset, and amplify the handset and microphone volume. The Mute function (microphone off) enhances the professional impression of the call (the client cannot hear the operator asking for advice or calling a colleague). To answer a call, pick up the handset. You can connect your HandsFree set to a PC or another source of sound too in the same way.
Application:
Where you use a handset and a headset alternately, or where the Mute function can be utilised. It is an ideal solution for poor acoustic conditions. It provides a generally more professional impression of a call (sales offices, managers' offices, call centres).

3) Telephone - Wireless HandsFree
(+ Remote Answering)
Features:
This solution allows you to move freely within a radius of up to 150 m (with optional extension by a repeater). An improved sound quality thanks to a built-in amplifier. Remote answering option upon modification (without handset call answering and hanging up). Connectable to other sources of sound (e.g. a PC).
Application:
Where the operator needs free movement (warehouses, manager's offices, technical support lines, reception desks).
